Biographical Notes

Terry Bollinger is IT Analyst in the Joint Systems division of The MITRE Corporation. He is the author of the Wiley Encyclopedia of Software Engineering article on Linux and open source, an Assistant Editor-in-Chief for IEEE Software, and co-editor of a special issue of IEEE Software on open source software. Terry was a recipient of the IEEE Millennium Medal for his many years of service to the software community, and a co-recipient of the Potomac Forum Leadership Award for his work on open source issues at MITRE.
