Biographical Notes

Currently, Mykola Tomyn, is an Administrator of Distance MBA Program at Lviv Institute of Management and an IT Manager of the Ukrainian Distance Learning (UDL) System. He holds a Master in Physics and Mathematics degree from Lviv State University and an MBA from Lviv Institute of Management. He has successfully completed an MBA Internship Program on Distance Learning at the University Television Center of Wayne State University, Detroit, MI, U.S.A.; the training on Wired Education in the CEENET'99 Workshop on Network Technology, Budapest, Hungary; full-time program on asynchronous learning network (ALN) technologies, held at Loyola College in Maryland, U.S.A. Mykola Tomyn's professional activity today is to study a possibility of using and developing Open Source Software for Distance Learning purpose in Ukrainian conditions.
