Dan Ravicher is a registered patent attorney and an associate with Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP in New York. A significant portion of Mr. Ravicher's practice involves open source software legal issues, most particularly licensing. In addition to counseling clients on these matters, Mr. Ravicher has also published several articles and made numerous presentations on the subject, including Facilitating Collaborative Software Development: The Enforceability of Mass-Market Public Software Licenses, an article published in the , and Attorney Dan Ravicher on Open Source Legal Issues, an interview by Slashdot.
