Biographical Notes

Stanley A. Klein is Principal Consultant of Stan Klein Associates, LLC, offering consulting and training in computers, communications, and management science, with a focus on technical issues analysis. His recent technical issue areas have included information security for electric power and free/open-source software for business application. He has over 40 years experience as a consultant and task/project leader in systems and software technology for a wide range of government and commercial systems applications. He holds a D.Sc. in Operations Research from the George Washington University, and B.E.S and M.S.E. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University. He has worked at Computer Sciences Corporation, Atlantic Research Professional Services Group, Operations Research Incorporated, and other organizations. He is also a member of the project team for GNU Enterprise, a project of the Free Software Foundation developing software for operation of a business or government enterprise.
