Abstract
It's been a recurring theme the past few Januarys: "This is the year of PKI." Such aspirations of hitting a grand-slam homerun weren't overly optimistic since public key infrastructure addressed many of the emerging Internet threats and operating necessities of e-commerce. PKI vendors spent billions in development and acquisitions to support this perceived market. However, the PKI game has essentially turned into a no hitter. This talk will provide some answers. We will also speculate (with the audience) on the future of PKI. |
