Current, stable Open Source Security solution for small to medium networks. Train for and deploy 'stateful' firewalls, 'sniffers', and general intrusion detection. Stateful firewalls compared to 'Deep Packet Inspection'. Discussion of hardware -vs- software firewalls, network traffic analyzers, and common exploits.
