Abstract

With dreams of "Trustworthy Computing" and "Pervasive System Security" is there really any commercial vendor doing anything to get us there ? We all have come to the agreement that security is a necessity and not just a luxury. Applications need to be built on a solid foundation not a shifting or fragile one. Operating Systems must provide high-level abstractions to ensure that solutions can keep pace with technology advancements. Come learn about how one vendor has been taking this very seriously for years. Learn not only how security can be built in from the ground up, but what role the Common Data Security Architecture (CDSA) can play in that foundation.
