Abstract

E-gov services for the blind    Sugar, David

E-gov services for the blind

Abstract

GNU Bayonne  e-government services for the blind  voice browsing   is the telephony server of the GNU project. It has been used to deliver freely licensed telephony solutions for large enterprises, commercial carriers, and local governments around the world. We have recently initiated a project in the Republic of Macedonia to develop . I would like to introduce this project within the wider context of GNU Bayonne and freely licensed telephony software. In particular, I wish to talk about how GNU Bayonne architecture makes it well suited to deliver e-government services by providing of existing or future web hosted XML documents and resources, and by providing automated means for blind users to interactivily use e-government services.
