These days, I'm spending much of my time on semantic integration activities, often with reference to the ISO "Topic Maps" standard. My clients include government agencies, technology developers, and publishers.
I've recently open-sourced my Versavant subject addressing engine. I assist Michel Biezunski in maintaining the production system for IRS Tax Map. I serve as co-editor of the Topic Maps International Standard, ISO 13250. With Patrick Durusau, I'm helping to draft ISO 13250-5, the Topic Maps Reference Model.
I co-chair Balisage: the Markup Conference (formerly Extreme Markup Languages) annually in Montreal every August; these lively technical conferences refresh me and many others.
